MG MGF Technical - MGF Alarm

Hi,
My alarm only works when the boot is open! Im not sure what to do. Has anyone else come across this?

Take it to your local MG dealer/Specialist and pay £150 , become a Member of the BBS at £0 and look at 100s of answers in the Archives or look at the cables adjacent to the LH hinge of the boot lid.
