MG MGF Technical - Lights On! - Buzzer Alarm


One flat battery later - and I have realised that my 'Lights left on' buzzer doesn't appear to working any more.

Does anyone have any thoughts on where to investigate, all I know is it's triggered by opening the driver door.

I couldn't find anything in the archives at all. It is on a '98 VVC - it's mentioned in my handbook but with no troubleshooting advice!

Any advice much appreciated!!

May be a broken MFU box (multifunction unit)
There's a test routine to verify all functions.

I've posted it at http://www.mgfcar.de/MFU/index.htm
The RH column should be written in English (OK, kind of ...)
And it will be in the archives as well.
