MG MGF Technical - key fob question

Andrew,
Dry joint maybe?
Take it out of its case and twist the PCB (printed Circuit Board) a little while you press the buttons near the car. If a dry joint then when it is back in its case, the joint does not make contact due to pressure.

If the plastic/rubber buttons are made in China then they may be too short/or too long? Does it click when you press it?

Hope that helps,
Branko

Hi Branko
i have fixed it when i had a good look at the circuit board out of the case i can see that the Aeriel i think that's what it is when fitted in the case lies in a rubber sleeve i just took the sleeve out and now it works when i looked at my old one it wasn't there either so all good
