MG MGF Technical - Hydragas Sphere Isolator

Hi
I would like to know if it's possible to isolate hydragas sphere to reduce nitro temperature variations due engine temperature, avoiding or reducing sphere damage?
regards

Hi Eduardo,

Yes, it is possible to isolate the fluid interconnection between the hydragas spheres (fairly simple) - but I am not sure whether this is what you're asking about? Not really feasible to control the pressure of the nitrogen sphere independently...

Hi Rob, nice to hear about you....thank you... yes, I see, it´s very difficult to control the pressure of the nitrogen sphere independently....

For now I´m working on design, to fit one underside air deflector, taking underbody air to reduce the temperature at the engine bay, also I already installed the air side scoops (both sides)... when I have finish this job I will send you all the pictures... I would like to know your comments about it...

regards

Eduardo.

Look forward to seeing and hearing more Eduardo :o)

I have scoops on my car's air intakes - not sure how effective they are - not had a chance to put them through any form of testing, but designed correctly, they could work very nicely...

An under body scoop has been done before - Roger Parker used a part from a Toyota MR2. IIRC it didn't quite work out as well as he'd hoped - should be more in this site's archives.

Best of luck! :o)
