MG MGF Technical - How to change a light bulb please help

Hi all can anyone help the bulb has gone on the dashboard making it difficult to see the speedo its a 04 TF

Straight foreward job at the TF, cause of no restrictions from speedo cable or things like that.

From memory.
- disconnect the battery
- Locate and undo 4 screws around the instrument cowl.
- carefully pull the cowl off and unplug the connectors to the switches for the motor mirror and instrument light.
- undo the four screws at the corners of the instrument.
- carefully pull out the instrument until you get access to the bolts on top of the instrument which hold the metal brackets.
- Undo these brackets, the small white plastic box with two wires on top of the instrument will come loose.
- The bulbs are inside this box behind the amber filter screen.

Replace bulbs and put all back in reverse order :)

Finally after reconnecting the battery:
- synchronise the alarm blipper(s) to the alarm ECU with four times pushing the close button

Notice the instrument front window. This perspex like plastic is very brittle and prone to break.
