MG MGF Technical - head bolt torque settings??

Hi

Could someone tell me if the head bolt torque setting is now 30nm as apposed to 20nm? does this apply to the new multi layer gasket? I have read conflicting information on this point.

There are no changes to the torque settings for the new MLS gasket.

Yep, the change to 30nm was much earlier, back in 2004.

Dieter, is there any documented evidence of the change to 30Nm? I have just ckecked a 2004(August) Rave manual and it still says 20Nm.
