MG MGF Technical - Front wheel hub bolt size?

have wires on my car and there's a split pin in the castle nut that i cant get out.
im thinking of hitting a socket over the bolt and snaping the split pin.
but i don't know what size the bolt is?
i don't want to go hitting the wrong size socket over the bolt.
