MG MGF Technical - Error code P1521

Hi any help welcome
I have a 2002 vvc tf just had the hg done
car goes well but the amber warning light keeps coming on, The garage I had hg done have replaced spark plugs and a manifold sensor.
I have borrowed a code reader and keep getting the same error code P1521 variable intake solenoid #1 circuit malfunction

Any one know which way the connectors go on the two cam solenoids?
looking at the back at the moment brown on left blue on right.
reading other post it may be possible to get configerd the wrong way

Just for the record Chainged the servo connectors around today worked no more amber light
