MG MGF Technical - Engine no. 18K4FK51 660713

I have been offered an engine bearing the number 18K4FK51 660713. I think it has lived in a Land Rover Freelander.
Does it have the same compression ratio, camshafts etc as an MGF engine? Anybody who has an idea how old it is?

The engine prefix is the same as several Rover 75s that we have on our system. All these cars were registered around 2000.
