MG MGF Technical - Engine Can Not Start
| I have a 1996 MGF MPi,it has been sitting for a few months and I could not get it started. It was running pretty good before that. 1) Ignition coil has voltage (3-5V) when ignition is on 2) When ignition on the ECU does not has enough earth 3) ECU to ign. coil (Black & White) wire is OK 4) Crank sensor (CKS) is new 5) CKS to ECU wiring is OK 6) Sometimes it has (10-11V) when starting the vehicle I am talking about the ignition coil. Engine seems to start but was flooded by petrol Whatelse should I look into to get my car start and running Could some experience people help |

| We have check with the distrubutor, rotor arm and contact points it seems to be OK and no wear and tear. When cranking the engine the coil does not produce enough output(voltage)...could it be the ECU? Whatelse could I check? |
