MG MGF Technical - ECU ?

Where is the ECU located for MGF (2000), is it behind the rotary heater controls ? (so both foot well panels have to come off ?)

Which ECU? there are several.
The engine ECU is in the engine bay, mounted on the bulkhead on the left hand side (when viewed from the rear of the car).

thanks, sorry I meant PAS ECU, but I've found it. Also I didn't know the engine ecu was there so thanks again.

The electronic control module located under the heater control box is for the immobiliser. EPAS ECU is located above the glovebox (the glovebox is easily removed by removing about 4 screws and loosening two others to reveal) and the engine ECU (MEMS) is on the boot bulk head on the left. The multi-function unit (MFU) is associated with the fuse board, under the steering column.
