MG MGF Technical - Drivers window jamming...

Hi,
I have been having problems with the driver's side window over the last months. When it is closed fully, it seems to mistrack making the door hard to close.
From reading around, it seems to be due to a broken window stop.
Suddenly today however, when I try to open the window, it jams- although i can hear the motor.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Sounds like the window motor gear is knackered, or the main gear to the window regulator is bent.
Check it out.
If the motor with gear is gone, then there's no solution but getting a new or second hand motor.
