MG MGF Technical - Dead battery

Hi Guys,

Not been on here in years! Not driven my poor F in years either. I have to move it and the battery is dead.

Rather than buying a new battery would I be able to use the battery from my other car to fire it up without blowing it up ?

Other car is a 911.

So you prefer driving an tail-happy tuned-up Beetle eh..? ;o)

Provided the positive & negative terminals are the correct way around, the 911 battery will do the job and without harm to either car or battery. The oil will have completely & utterly drained down from the cylinder head, so it's likely to be quite tappety at first - best to leave it idling for a few minutes before driving it.
