MG MGF Technical - Dead batery if left a few days

If I do not use the car for 3 or 4 days the battery is dead. I have checked that the interior, Boot and bonnet lghts are going out and they are. Battery 6 months old. Any ideas?

Your best next option is to invest in a multimeter and check the current drain.

Could be a duff battery.

Take it to a Kwik Fit type place and ask them the check it.

Good luck!

Another problem could be a low-level short - most commonly in the bootlid harness which frequently fractures with age and usage.

I have know the starter solenoid to leak to earth and flatten the battery in a few days, was a real problem to find, but as suggested a multimeter is a good investment.
