MG MGF Technical - ContiPremium 2 on a TF?

Hi Everyone - the rears are shot on my TF and the OE fit ContiPremiumContact has been replaced by the CPC2 version. I have a pair on the front and they seem fine, are there any issues with the newer version being fitted to the rear? (too many worries after all the Goodyear F1 problems....)

Hi Tony,

I've got Continentals all round but the rears have only 3mm of tread left.

The local tyre gang (in Jersey) quoted me just under £200-00 for two rear Continentals(to order) and £272-00 for Toyos all round. As the tyres are 5 years old it's a no brainer even though the fronts have 6mm tread left.
