MG MGF Technical - calipers

Has anybody painted there own brake calipers red and how did you do it

found it should have looked in archive fist
but if you have any tips that would be great

Remove caliper from disc, clean thoroughly, then clean again - paint won't stick to dusty parts. Cover all parts you don't want to paint in carrier bags to avoid contamination. Not sure what paint solvent does to rubber brake hoses, but it won't be very pleasant.

Hammerite works well if you can et the colour you want and you work fast.
