MG MGF Technical - Bloody ALARM


Hi,

My alarm is driving me bonkers. It super locks intermittently - so thought it was the door lock. Changed both motors, (drivers side had collapsed micro switch). Still the doors didn't super lock. Checked wiring loom in boot and repaired broken wire, (black wire). Still not working. Did the "self test" and all alarm signals pass except the bonnet ??? Should the bonnet work during "self test".

Is there anything else I can check. Fuse under bonnet looks okay - are there any other related fuses with regards the locking system.
Which wires in the boot loom relates to the alarm - maybe I need to re-wire specific wires.
What would cause the alarm to trigger if it was the bonnet - the light in the bonnet works okay but I'm not sure what is sending the signal from this area.
Anything else I can check.
