MG MGF Technical - Battery Change

The battery on my 02 TF is beginning to go, and I plan to replace it in the near future. Apart from the radio code, is there any other electronic issues with disconnecting the battery? My neighbour had to have his Peugeot 407 towed away when he changed his battery, to have the engine management system reset - anything like this happen on the TF?? Thanks, AB

I disconnected my 2000 MGF 1.8i battery, and didn't even lose the radio code! Might be worth checking for the TF.

I changed my TF 52 battery last year. No issues.
