MG MGF Technical - Another Window Not Working

Hi Guys

Seems to be a common theme on here recently. The drivers window on my 2000 MGF has suddenly packed up (Passenger window fine). Looked at the Window lift ECU as it was making a clicking noise when I tried to lower the window and replaced it as I thought this was the problem. However ICU still clicking and window still not working! Any ideas before I pull the door apart & the good weather arrives Motor? Relay?

Swap over the drivers and passengers window switches and see whether that makes a difference. Burnt out switch connections remains one of the commonest causes of this particular problem Dave.

The clicking suggests that the window is tight in the guides. If something is preventing the window coming up, it will stop. As you hold the switch, it will repeatedly try again and 'click'.
