MG MGF Technical - Another Spark Plug Question

Hi Chaps, I have a set of Champion EON 2 (702) plugs that I bought for my son's petrol 1.8K Freelander before he changed it for a diesel one. Will they be ok in my TF (2002 my 135)? On the pack it says that they are recommended for the Rover 416 K series engine. Or should I put them on E-Bay? Thanks, AB

They're likely to be the wrong heat rating - you'll probably need a cooler plug.

The Champion plug that appears to be listed for the non-VVC 1.8 litre is RC8PYPB4 - but the 135 is not listed on the quick search of the internet that I've done...

Good question - some one should put together a webpage on this (or have you already Dieter???)
