MG MGF Technical - Alternator connection

Am fitting a new alternator this morning.
There are 3 terminals. One is the big one - easy.
But does the brown/yellow wire go on the terminal marked D+ or W?

IIRC the nut will only fit on the right terminal

Stuck it on the D+ connector (next to the large one). Nothing went bang and it's running OK.
