MG MGF Technical - Alarm Woes

Hi all

I've had a look through the archives but am struggling to find anything specific.

We had occasional problems with the alarm sounding intermittently on our F but with the TF it's worse. One of the local cab firms radios seem to work on a similar frequency so they set it off with monotonous regularity but it now seems to be going off even without that influence. There are no microwaves or mobile phones left in or near the car but it still goes off at all hours.

Any thoughts?

Almost certainly a broken wire in the loom next to the boot hinge!

Ah! The good old wiring loom. I seem to recall a problem with the F too.
