MG MGB Technical - Weber carb problem I think
After a complete overhaul on the engine I installed a new 38/38 synchronized weber and on starting engine it starts right up and choke starts to open then it just dies out. It will start up again and stay running only if I throttle it but just won't stay idling. Any ideas what it could be. Jets maybe? Valves and timing are right on.

Idle mixture setting screw is set too lean for the engine to run without the choke on. RAY

Many thanks to all who responded to my problem with the weber carbs I installed. I did check the idle jets and found one completely plugged up. Now it idles great. Thanks again
