MG MGB Technical - Replacement rear end - tube axle

Hi All...

I have a friend who's looking for a replacement rear end for an '80 MGB - non-wire.

I haven't myself seen it, but I understand the spider gear assembly is essentially shattered.

I had a similar problem years ago and found it cheaper to just get a new used rear end.

Any thoughts of where to find one these days? Philadelphia and/or east coast US would be a plus...

Thanks for the tip, Les. I'll pass the info along. Hopefully we can put one more of these little cars back on the road. Of course, someone else will have to take one off the road for a bit to maintain balance...
