MG MGB Technical - Refitting quarter light
| '72 Roadster - Just got the windscreen fitted without too much bother and a very helpful better half. Used the tape method for the bottom seal and a variation of the G clamp method for the final pull down to fit the forward screws. Having done all that I was disappointed to find the passenger quarter light sits very high, about 5-7 mm above the rear of the screen. The doors were reskinned and the left door 'shelf' on which the quarter light sits does have a different side profile compared to the right. Not the flat surface you might expect. It will probably mean some careful cutting etc. Does anyone have a side view of the quarterlights so that I can see where the top fronf edge should line up with the rear of the screen? |

| Thanks Stan. Would it be fair to say the top of the quarterlight should be level with the top of the rear section that runs up the back of the screen pillar? |
