MG MGB Technical - Rear springs replacement

I need to replace the rear springs on my 1979 BGT (a job which I did on this car 15 years ago). I've looked at the archives and have noted some concerns in the past over the quality of "OE" rear springs on offer. Is the current situation still as bleak, or can anyone recommend where I might get a decent set of OE springs? Has anyone fitted springs from Moss or MGOC recently? (looking for bog standard spec - not parabolics or any other 'improvements').

they are a division of British Springs the OEM.

British Springs and Owen Springs were both members of an umbrella group, and Owen Springs seem to have taken over their work in 2007. If they are manufacturing MGB springs to the original specs I would have expected the usual suspects to be stocking them by now. I bought a pair for the V8 from the MGOC late that year but I was lucky to get old stock, several suppliers I contacted said they hadn't had any for ages and didn't know when they would be getting them. Those were fine.
