MG MGB Technical - Oil Pan Gasket for 3-main MGB

What is the recommended brand and/or type of oil pan gasket for a 1964 3-main MGB engine? I checked with Federal Mogel for a Fel-Pro gasket. They say that they do not make one for a 3-main, only the 5-main.

Hi Frank,

What I use is silicon gasket stuff. Comes in a tube and you run a bead around the oil pan lip. Make sure that you clean both surfaces thoroughly before using, I use denatured alcohol.
