MG MGB Technical - identify this metal dash bracket

I've reinstalled the metal dash in my 67. I have a little bracket left over and can't remember where to place it.

Attached is a photo.

Also, the long bracket with two captive nuts that goes at the bottom behind the speaker box. Do the bolts to this bracket go up from behind the speaker box to the bracket or does the bracket go along the bottom of the dash.

It looks like the bracket that the glove box steady bar bolts to. Barrie E

Barrie is correct, it is the same as on my 1963.

Thanks guys.

I somehow put this item in the wrong bag when I took the dash apart.

And to answer the second part of the question, the bar with the captive nuts sits above the bottom of the dash and the bolt heads are down and screw up into the captive nuts sandwiching the dash. I took this out last week on my 1964 roadster.
