MG MGB Technical - haynes manual

hi . i have a 1962 to 1978 haynes manual but notice you can also get a 62 to 80,are these identical or is it updated version with better pics etc?
modern manuals show engine bay etc but i cant seem to find any.mine is missing some parts,ie screenwash bottle and various tubes and pipes and i need to see where things should be( see other thread ha ha)or do you know of any good pics or schematics.
thanks

The best book of photos, which was enormous help when I built my car, is "Original MGB" by Anders Clausager. The early Haynes manuals aren't particularly well endowed with pictures.
Mike Howlett

The later Haynes will just cover changes to the late models, the photos are really only to aid disassembly and reassembly of components, if there is anything else in shot it is largely luck. As Mike says Clausager is a far better bet for photos showing how things are generally positioned, but even with that there were many variations over the years and markets, fora like these are generally a good source of info, in addition to Clausager, Haynes, and the Leyland Workshop Manual as a minimum.
