MG MGB Technical - Front Valance

Has anyone tried the Frontline Costello Anti lift Front end?
Got a Sebring valance fitted at the minute, which I have modified so i can still use the front bumper.
Would be interested to know if anyone has any experience of doing this to the Costello version and does it work?
It looks better (IMHO) to the Special Tuning ones.

Thanks.

At what speed do you get lift? I've done an indicated 100+ and it still felt as stable as ever (unlike my Marina which over 80 felt as stable as a ballerina on tip-toe).

I was getting it at 100 mph+
Then I lowered the car slightly (with some stiffer springs) and I now get it around 85 mph.

Did the back go down more than the front? I've got a 'scoop' spoiler on the front of the V8 (don't know what make) and had no lift with that at an indicated 120, and to be honest I'd be surprised if it lifted with the original valance.

My ST spoiler made a massive difference to stability at speed, but I had to avoid any roads with speed ramps. Mine split in two on a Naviscat yumping across the Somerset 'levels'...! The replacement Sebring valance was a pig to fit and nowhere near as effective.

I've been up to an indicated 110mph (on track) with no problems.

Have you got negative camber wishbones fitted? They help a lot with stability.
