MG MGB Technical - Fog Lights arent working anymore

So my fog lights have stopped working and I am not sure what the problem is. I replaced the switch and that didnt fix the issue. So here is my setup

On my relay there is a spot for battery, lights, switch.
They are all connected to those components. If I unplug the battery wire from the relay and touch it to the light terminal, they will turn on. Also if I touch the battery wire to the switch terminal on the relay it will make a clicking sound. So I would assume that the relay works because of the clicking sound, and we also now know the lights work too.
On my light switch I have the wire coming from the relay, there is also a red wire connected and a black wire. There are four terminals on the back of the switch labeled 1-4. Do the 3 wires need to be connected to specific numbers?
What do you think the problem is?

I think that your relay has developed poor contacts internally. If it can be taken apart, you should be able to clean the contacts. If not, a replacement relay is in order. RAY

If the switch clicks the relay then that part of the circuit is OK. And if touching the battery feed wire to the lights wire makes the lights works then both part of that circuit is OK as well. The only remaining part is the relay contacts themselves, as rjm sez.
