MG MGB Technical - Different SU Float Needle?
Hi All I recently bought a spare SU float needle kit and I've noticed that the tip of the actual needle valve looks like hard rubber? rather than solid brass, I've never come across this before, is this just the way they are nowadays and does anyone have any experience of them? Ron

That's the Viton tip and how it should be. Better than the old solid brass, and better than the current stock Grose Jets (jets?). http://sucarb.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=33997&Printable=true

Hi Paul Thanks for the info, I've tried Grose jets in the past and not found them any better than the standard ones so hopefully this viton tipped one should be better, Ron
