MG MGB Technical - Difference in Bushings
Can one of our UK friends tell me if there is any significant difference between the Superflex A arm bushings and the Superpro A arm bushings? I have a supplier in the US that can get the superpro's

I fitted Superpro bushes all round earlier this year. I believe they are made in the same factory in Australia. Superpro were cheaper I believe. The only difference I could determine is that Superflex use stainless crush tubes and the Superpro are plated steel.

My murky recall is Steve Strange has specific knowledge and reference for the bushings....Hey Steve....you there? Vic
vem myers
Vic- Yup, I'm still around, awaiting your answer to my Email of the 12th. Bruce- SuperPro used to be a distributor of SuperFlex bushings, but later started marketing their own bushings, which has resulted in a lot of confusion. The SuperFlex bushings are precision-machined to tolerance on CNC machines, while the SuperPro bushings are made in molds, which makes them less expensive, but a less-precise fit. As to quality, I'd go with SuperFlex.
