MG MGB Technical - Delco Alternator
| I am fitting a Delco alternator to my R.B.GT conversion, (3500 Rover V8)the Delco alternator has two male spade connections of the same size on the side of the alternator with a single stud connection on the rear of the alternator. The std. MG Lucas plug has two large brown wires of the same size with one smaller brown wire with a yellow trace. I will have to disassemble the plug and probably change the wire connectors, the question I have is where do the wires connect to on the Delco alternator? Rgds Trevor Burnett |

| Probably a bit late, but there is also this Delco alternator which is of much newer design and can drop right in place without having to fabricate new mounting hardware (altho some minor adjustment to the existing hardware may be necessary). http://www.britishcarforum.com/bobmuenchausen/17901.html |
