MG MGB Technical - carburetter concern

Hello,

I am a little concerned, as the schematic diagram is unclear, I need to know where the bracket that connects to the jet should be mounted. Please can someone send me a photo of their HS4 carburetter for clarification. Whichever position I fix the bracket, it seems to stiffen the otherwise smooth movement of the jet.

Hi Alex

That arm goes behind the jet and secures to the other side of the lower jet end.

The arm actually has a cut out section to allow for this arrangement.

I would oil the outer surface of the jet and then see what kind of movement you see with everything in place
