MG MGB Technical - AC for V8
| I'd like to add ac to my v8 conversion. I want to keep the interior look clean and original. Are there and kit available that use the interior air vents or can be installed in the rear firewall. Richard Cohen |

| I just put one from Nostalgic Air (Florida company) into my V8 conversion. I used a Sanden 508 supplied by them at my request and mounting plates for same supplied by D&D Fabrication (Michigan) I used a condensor supplied by Nostalgic Air (at my spec). I bought a/c hose locally and made my own hoses. Attached is the under dash picture showing the ductwork...in two other posts I'll show you the finished dash and the compressor install. My unit is a heater/defroster/air conditioner; I used on of the center ducts to feed the defroster tubes; I have one duct blowing on the driver's footwell (NASCAR-style); one duct to the dash panel, and one duct to the outside lower passenger side of the dash (finisher is not yet installed in this picture.) My total cost for all parts from all suppliers was about $1500. I'm getting it charged tomorrow, so I have not yet benefitted from its cooling properties. HTH...
