MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Why LS1 will not work
| I found a good picture of the LS1, it has a "protruberance" on the driver side of the block/oilpan that would want to reside in what is the frame rail area of most cars. This would keep it out of the engine bays of uour little cars. Pete |

| Pete, You have a picture of what youre refering to? Care to post it? The pics I have of the LS1 lead me to believe that it is possible and even rather straightforward. Ill see if I can post my DS photo. |

| Check out the Novemeber issue of SUPER ROD magazine for an interestng article on swapping to a carburetor on the LS1, It also makes comments on the oil pan problems when fitting into a small engine bay. |

| The picture I refer to is from Super Rod magazine. However, I have since found other images that do not show the protruding casting, on other engines. Pete |
