MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Sourcing a V8
Any advice on the best way to source a 3.9 V8 for a conversion? I've looked through eBay but is there anywhere else I should consider?

Buy a complete Range Rover, there are all sorts of bits you can use including the induction system and all the sensors, computer etc. You can then part out the rest of the Rangie to cover you expenses. Cheap way to go. Mark.

Or you could consider the rather more powerful (190hp) 3.5 engine from the SD1 Vitesse, there are still a few about, complete with 5 speed boxes .

Consider a new 3.9 short motor. http://www.rpiv8.com/engine.htm
