I do believe that is a motorcycle speedometer, from either a Triumph, BSA or Norton

Tony I put a Triumph Stag speedo in my 79 MGBV8 it reads 140 MPH and fits the 4" hole perfectly, so for later model B s with bigger instruments its a fit. Also its fairly close in accuracy with my 3.08 diff FYI
Gil Price
Why not take a MG C speedometer. It is scaled up to 140 Mph and works fine altogh i always become anoid when the needle is at 130+. Wet fingers garanteed! Ralph

The chrome rim is nice. I also used Stag gauges in my 79B. Saved work on the tach too.
