MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Slowly Getting There
Just about have the engine built now. I like the effect the MG red has on the GM engine (bottom pics) and the engraved "MG" on the plenum worked out pretty well, I think. http://www.rhodo.citymax.com/Jamaican.html

Looking good, Bill. What brand of MG Red engine paint did you use?
Carl Floyd
That is Moss - they haven't yet figured out how to keep it from spotting with oil (which is sort of like selling umbrellas that dissolve in water....), but the colour is good. I'd have polished the plenum and highlighted the MG in red, but we broke through when boring the intake throat and JB Weld doesn't polish very well....:-(

Thanks, Bill. The color of the Moss paint is good, but the durability is not. Hot anti-freeze ruins it. :(

POR 15 makes that same color, austin red (maroon) they call it, in there engine paint. fantastic stuff if you have not ever used it, good to 1500 degrees. jim
