MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - O2 sensor placement

I'm interested in where the guys with fuel injection placed they're O2 sensors (that's Lambda sensor for EU)in the exhaust system. Mine are about 10" to 12" from the collector and about 18" to 24" in front of the Cat. I'm asking because I'm wondering if that's to far away when using headers making the sensor run cool and be overly sensitive.

Thoughts?

Mark,

I have seen guys pace these all over. We place ours fairly close. It helps to have coated headers and if too far away, you can always go with a heated O2 sensor. Its only during idle that you could potentally have issues but probably not.
