MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - numbers?
| Hello again, can anyone help with these numbers? My brother in law drug this B home from Virginia , there is no vin. plate. The numbers off the engine are 18v883AE-L3116 its NOT a pull handle car, he drives truck so I havent talked to him but my other brother in law said he told him the title said its a 1961 - OK - so we all know thats not right.. This car is in a very sad state, the underneath is ROUGH [understatement] but I'd say its 98% all there . whats everyones thoughts on mgb trailers? seems a shame to cut up a complete car , but this things rough ! and i dont think i'd do a trailer anyway [all that time / money / work just to tow it to a local meet once in awhile.] To many projects now , thanks in advance again. |

| Hello well my brother in law did find a vin. plate but the #'s he gave me make no sense, there has to be a couple of letters missing . I'll have to give him another call . any thoughts on a trailer ? They claim the engine is free , most everything appears to be there , what could i expect if i part it out ? He payed $250. for it & hauled it , I have no idea what he'd want for it , just know he wants to sell it. Thanks again. |
