MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Nice weather for a drive

Yesterday Matthew and I got the MG out, gave it a wash and cruised over to the local hot spot where we parked, got an ice cream and checked out the other rides before taking a medium length drive around the block, coming back and doing it again. Pretty good time, the car ran just fine, and we found a new thing to do on Sundays. Edith followed us over in the Lincoln Blackwood truck and promptly informed me that I had made a mistake in letting her drive it, as she had greatly enjoyed both the driving and the attention she had gotten. Is this what I have to look forward to if I put a 200-4r transmission in the MG? Well I suppose it's not a bad thing.

So how about it guys, got any stories for us?

My wife and I took the V8 "B" up to our local wineries (temecula CA) for a day criuse. It was the longest trip scince we got the rear end done. What a day, criusing along with the top down stop at for a few tastings and cruise home. about 130 miles coverd with no problems. great day.

Jim, have to share this one.

Every Sunday they have a gathering for coffee etc at shopping center in Muhalland drive Ca.20 miles from my house. On the last Sunday of the month turns out to be very large they call it Super Car Sunday, so we go with the Corvette club and have some fun seen the cars such as
Ferraris, Lambos, Mercedes with trick out engines etc and some very high end rods. Yes some movie stars and people with lots of money.Jane Leno frequents this cruise, enough background.
This last Sunday I was taken my B to the canyons in Santa Monica, so I left early 6:30 am and stopped for a cup of coffee at the Super car Sunday, the gathering starts at 6 am and ends about 11 am this event atracks about 200 + cars my boddies were there with the Corvettes and I was on my MG top down, one spot available between a Lambo and a Z06 Vette, here is the punch-

guess which car had the must people looking at it and asking questions, you guess it my MGB, I could not believe it, I was amaze!!! acroos from my car was a 560 Ferrari and a F-40 next to him, plus a real Road runner Hemi etc.

That was so cool litle V6 MGB next to the big $$$$ cars.
Some ask me to bring it next Sunday, Yes I will take pictures.
Can you imagine the V6, V8 annual at this place?
Some guys with leather Jackets and a big bull on the back (represents Laborgini) they started the conversation by saying " I used to have an MG when I was going to collegue, I wish it had a V6 like this one, etc. you know the rest.
I finally left around 10 am.
