MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - MGBV8 convrsion tech session

A reminder about the Washington, DC MG Car Club tech session this coming Saturday, Nov. 12.

We will have a tech session on the basics of the MG V8 swap, and all are welcome. We will have 4 conversions on hand plus any others that may show up. General topics will be parts sourcing, budgeting, planning, power levels, and the actual work and tools involved.

The tech session will start at 9:00 A.M., with the car club furnishing the usual coffee & donuts. Our sessions usually end around noon, but I will stay around if there are additional questions or topics that someone wants to cover.

The hobby shop I share with a group of gearheads is located in Newington, Va, just South of the Capital beltwey, I-495. From I-495, take I-95 South getting into the 3rd lane in from the median. They don't call this inerchange the "mixing bowl" for nothing. This lane will lead you to the Backlick/Fulerton road exit. At the first traffic light take a right onto Fullerton Roa, following this road through 3 traffic lights and up the hill. Turn right on Angus Court, just past Northern Virginia Supply Co on the left. At the end of Angus Court turn right at the driveway just in front of the printing company and look for the MG's.

Great idea, Jim..I hope you have good attendance...and...consider making a tape/DVD of same...would be there, but work and travel schedules do not allow this year....
