MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - MGB V6 video online ~ Take a look!!!
A couple of us put a video together of a BGT V6 project ~ eh, that we put together! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvDoTV6Oo8s This video is about 9 minutes long and the majority of video is uncut. This is so those who want to know sound at different speeds, or what its like just cruising down the road, Passing at freeway speeds or taking off from a dead start can know about what its about. Please note- I was wrong about the 0-60 time. I have not checked it but rethought that one later. Its probably somewhere around 7 seconds in this car but have never checked it. This car was also going through the break in. I limit the number of hard pulls on a break in but we recorded them for your viewing pleasure. Please let me know what you think.... I admit since its uncut, the first half can be a bit slow until we get to the pulls. -BMC. No Triumphs were harmed in the making of this film. |

| Sounds strong. There are other V6 there too. I've always liked the old sports car sound myself. I'm thinking that simple glasspacks with Ansa tips might do the trick. |

| Yes, there is one other person who has a V6 listed and its a nice strong one. I dont know why but have the impression that the other one is a 4.3L 90 degree V6. I think I read that somewhere? I like the single exhaust and thats all this one is with a 2.5" pipe the whole way back. I cannot recall which muffler/silencer is on there. The owner installed that one since the one we sent with the car was a bit too loud for his tastes. The camera picks up the exhaust far more than my ears however- Its not really that loud all the time, but full throttle is very noticed for cabin sound. -BMC. |
