What a delight to find those of like mind. I plan to join as soon as possible. Recently I purchased an MG-TD. It was cheap, someone tried to put in a 302 V-8 and failed. I happened to have a 2.3 L Ford, 5spd just sitting around. This seemed to me a better fit. Currently the car has an 8" Ford, 4 lug rear end. I am told there is a 5 lug axel that fits this rear end. Then I will at least have 5 lugs on the front and rear and be able to get 15" wheels for the rear. I really want to find a way to use the MG disc wheelsand hubcaps does anyone have any suggestions? Could I have adapters made? Does anyone still make them? Help!

Joe, why don't you consider upgrading the front to MGB or MGA discs that have a 4 lug pattern that match the rear then you could use MGA 15" disc wheels and hubcaps which are pretty close to the TD items. If you want wider rims then the TR6 wheel also fits the 4 lug pattern, although the hubcaps would have to be adapted.
