MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Lifter Draindown Part 2

In my earler posting I had a lot of helpful suggestions re my problem with lifter drain down.

I have now changed the oil to Duckhams (Castrol) 20/50
and changed the filter for a Wix one, this has had the effect of considerably reducing the noise from what I now believe was one noisy lifter, with the added benefit in that the oil pressure comes up more quickly so hopefully problem solved. I also think that the car needs driving which it will get now that the steering is sorted.
