Bill are you going to use those plastic fuel lines or replace them. If you use them how will shorten them and put fittings on? Oh yeah it looks great too.

Those aren't plastic - they are steel. I'll be joining to them with proper high pressure injection hose and 3/8" steel line back to the pump and tank. Don't worry - as a racer I am well aware of suitable fire prevention and it doesn't include the possibility of 45 PSI fuel spraying around! http://www.rhodo.citymax.com/i/non-rhodo/enginin1.jpg

Looks good Bill! From the photos it looks like the steering rack and lower pulley are sharing the same space. Is this just an optical illusion or do you have to relocate the rack? When I tried to find adaptors for the GM fuel injection fittings to A/N I was told that Aeroquip didn't make them anymore (6 years ago) so had to use braze on A/N fittings on the original steel lines.

Remember that the rack tube is quite a bit narrower than the part that bolts onto the frame. There is good clearance between pulley and rack and the engine is on very solid mounts that don't allow much movement, so all should be well. I didn't even try to find conversion fittings for the fuel - I am using heavy duty fuel injection hose to bridge between supply lines and the lines bolted to the engine, with special fuel injection hose clamps. Aeroquip would have been nice, but......
