MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - ever just want to kick yourself?
| As part of my 302 swap, I switched to 5x4.5" hubs to allow for more varyied wheel choices... I sold the old hubs since I didn't need them... didn't notice till yesterday that the collar seals were apparently stuck inside the bearing grease seals cauz they're not on the spindles on either side. Unfortunately, i shipped the old hubs to the buyer on Monday. I've contacted the guy I sold them to, but am not holding high hopes of getting them back. I had a nagging feeling I shouldn't have sold them so quick... now i know why!! I was hoping to pick out wheels this weekend so i could calculate the rear end width i needed... now I have to find/get collar seals first which probably means a wasted week... doh!
