MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Engine mounts for ZETEC

I'm planning an engine swap for my 67 GT. I have more or less settles on the Ford ZETEC 2.0L with a Ford type9 gearbox. However not wishing to do any alterations to the car I am hoping to make brackets that will link the original engine mounts to the block. My question is; Would the original B-seres engine mounting rubbers be strong enough for a 160BHP ZETEC or will i rip them to pieces? If so would an engine steady bar solve this? Or are there any other rubbers that easily could be mounted ti the original engine mounting points?
